Meet the Team

Ruth Force, Aging Life Care Professional®, Owner

Having 27 years of experience working with older adults and their families, Ruth is living out her passion. In 1993, Ruth received her License in Social Work through the State of Ohio after having graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She immediately started working in a long-term care setting where she grew to love the residents and enjoyed working with family members. After marrying her husband, Dwight Force, in 1994 and moving out of state, she found work at the YWCA’s Battered Women’s and Children’s Shelter later becoming their Crisis Line Counselor. Missing geriatrics, in 1996, Ruth received her master’s degree in Psychology and started work in a Geri-psych outpatient setting; she has continued working with geriatrics ever since.

Ruth’s knowledge spans all level of care settings; long-term care, home care, dementia-specific care, and geriatric care management (Aging Life Care™). Working with Dorian Maples & Associates, Inc. she received her certification in care management in 2006 through The National Academy of Certified Care Managers and is an active member, in good standing, with the Aging Life Care Association®.

In 2009, Ruth received her certification as an Eden At Home Trainer and supports the Eden movement to eliminate the three plagues of aging: helplessness, loneliness, and boredom. Being a resource to educate her clients to the care options available to them related to their medical conditions, is a strong focus for her.

In 2021, Ruth was nominated to serve on the ALCA Midwest Chapter Board and is currently serving as their Secretary/Treasurer.

On September 1, 2020, Force Care Coordination +, LLC was formally open transitioning all clients from Dorian Maples & Associates, Inc.

Kim Rose, Life Care Coordinator

Kim joined Force Care Coordination+ , LLC in July of 2023 after receiving her Bachelor of Social Work from Indiana University. Growing up in Fort Wayne, she was exposed to caregiving at an early age as she watched her mother foster healthy relationships with those in need.

Kim brings with her 27 years of experience. Starting out as a Certified Nursing Assistant in California she quickly found her niche. Once back in Indiana, she began work at the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center where she worked 11 years as a Psych Attendant. After the Center closed, she shifted over to St. Joe Hospital’s Generation’s Unit as an Activity Director for 12 years. Prior to joining FCC+ she worked as an Activity Director at a local Assisted Living Community for 5 years.

Kim’s dedication to serving our older population is shown, not only in her experience, but in her daily interactions with others. Kim is generous with her time, kind and compassionate. She has the ability to put clients at ease and develops a trusting relationship almost immediately.

Kim is on her two-year journey of mentoring under Ruth Force to sit for her certification exam in care management offered through The National Academy of Certified Care Managers. She is currently an Associate Member of the Aging Life Care Association®.

Hannah Kahn, Administrative Assistant

Hannah joined Force Care Coordination +, LLC in February 2023 and has become a positive addition to the company. A graduate of Northside High School, Hannah attended St. Francis University for three semesters where she was studying to obtain a degree in Special Education.

Hannah’s professional experience ranges from 6 years as a certified trainer of restaurant servers, 1 year as a bank teller, and 2 years as a real estate and personal property closing manager with a large auction company.

Her role within FCC+ centers around the fiduciary services for Veteran’s and those clients who are under Guardianship, POA’s, and Trustee services. Hannah’s ability to explain budgets while guiding clients towards a better financial outlook is impressive. She manages the office with ease and helps maintain a level of organization that is admired.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her two children and attending local events.

Hannah is currently an Administrative Partner of the Aging Life Care Association®.
